my odd idea for a Spyro 4 (or spin off)
#1
I am prepared to hear a firm no from people.

I have been thinking recently what could be a possible theme or the next boss.. or whatever.

At the end of the year of the dragon we get to see a lot of dragon babies, what if, a few years has past and the babies are now young kids.
Between 5 and 8 years old. These kids probably have rich fantasies by that time. Obviously Spyro has grown a bit, we can't keep him at the exact age can we?

The villain in question has to power some kind of machine (or world) but couldn't find a source that is pure enough, after some research he figures that a kids fantasy is the kind of energy source he needs and creates another machine that "sucks" out the fantasy power of a kiddo dragon, thankfully Spyro and the other adults are mentally strong enough to resist the beam.
Obviously all of the kids are now... black and white, grumpy as heck and unwilling to do anything. Thus Spyro (and sparx) are now set out to save the fantasies of the kids.
That's where my idea pitch kinda ends, I wanted to expand on how the villain looks/sounds and some new enemies or worlds. But currently my own fantasy is the limiting factor here.

I like the idea of Spyro growing up a bit to show how much time passed between games. And the Spyro 3 hatchlngs being a bit older too. Smile
"Looks like I got some things to do!"

If we are going to talk Spyro 4 spinoffs, I'm a huge LoS fan. However, as much as I want those remastered/reimagined, I think it would be fun if Spyro 4 was a condensed LoS parody. Pick up the story after 'reignited' and keep it in that same fun, bright world and make fun of anything from LoS. You'd have to find some balance for sure.

Making a brighter and more cartoon-ish LoS trilogy would probably be incredibly difficult.
And to connect those two completely different worlds is even more difficult.

I would rather keep the LoS at a separate remaster/remake.

As always, I misread the comment and I forget the topic we are on.
Just ignore my previous comment, for some reason I thought you meant mixing those two games with the exact same story line from LoS with the art style from reignited. whoops, my bad.

Making a spin-off from the LoS in the same style as the reignited trilogy actually sounds like a fun idea, they might need to change the way you navigate between worlds though.
And of course, make the story a whole lot more lighthearted.
