PS3 Mod - Cynder actually being the black dragon
#1
A fan used a hex editor on his PS3 to replace textures found in the level files, making Cynder look like an actual black dragon for ingame cutscenes.

Followed the modder's guide in adding the black textures to Cynder:

Because I don’t have an emulator. I have the physical Wii version. Is it possible to add a hack in a disc?

I know this is an oldish thread so forgive me for bumping, but I'm wondering if there is some way to unpack KP3 archives in the PS3 version of Dawn of the Dragon. I have made a texture mod for Spyro, but I find it overly cumbersome to have to mess with hex values every time I need to test how something will look in-game. If I could just find a way to extract and repack the KP3 archives or had a way to inject files into them then it would be way more convenient for modding this game. I run the game in RPCS3 emulator to and have access to the game's directory from my game dump.
