Studying Game Development - gamer.io - 10-08-2021 As of last week I've started learning how to do Environment Art. I looked for a mentor and I found someone who works at Activision who has worked on both Spyro: Reignited Trilogy and Crash 4: It's About Time! It's really epic that the person wants to help me out! I will not reveal who this person is out of respect and privacy. If you really want to know who he/she is, I'll ask him/her if they would be fine with me revealing the name! Every now and then I'll post a bit of my projects' progress! (Keep in mind, I've just begun, so don't expect much yet. Project 1 Step 1 So, my first step was to find concept art. Made a couple of freeware games in Clickteam Fusion and Unity and have been learning Unreal Engine’s Blueprint System lately. On a side note, none of the images are loading. So you’re more into programming then? Thanks for letting me know that the images still aren’t loading in, I’ll look into this tomorrow! RE: Studying Game Development - Operationgamer17 - 10-08-2021 Programming and design, but I feel like I’m more of a designer at heart. Hence why I’m learning Blueprints. They’re geared towards designers. |
