It would be completely understandable if it is required to remove it.
Sure, I love the banner. But making a background for it sounds/looks like a incredibly difficult task.
And if there is no fitting background, people will start avoiding it. Just as simple as that.
Just a small question, Would you mind if I make a backup of the banner?
Because I do have a idea for a background, it will require some skills from me that I haven't used in years.
But I am willing to give it a try if it means the theme could be revived in the future.
As long as you won't be surprised if it doesn't turn out as well as hoped
the banner will not be redistributed and will only be used as guidence for the creation of the background.
