So there was originally going to be a "boatman" that would ferry you to all of the homeworlds, before he was replaced by the Balloonists.

Probably wouldn't need to jump on his head like he does the Balloonists

It would've made sense for him to ferry Spyro to Peace Keepers, Beast Makers and Gnasty's World, but not to Magic Crafters and Dream Weavers.
