The final cover art of the game was revealed, along with the fact that only Spyro 1 is on the disc and Spyro 2 and 3 have to be downloaded.

PlaystationLifestyle reached out to Activision to get clarification about wether the Spyro 2 and 3 downloads were a code or a patch and got this:
“As with most games today, downloading an update after purchase is quite common. The language on packaging and on the web is to let players know the requirements for Spyro Reignited Trilogy.”

We have word from Activision that you have to update your copy of Reignited to get Spyro 2 and 3!

Back of the German box art was leaked. Apparently, there’s some sort of instructions for downloading Spyro 2 and 3. It also confirms Sanzaru Games having some sort of involvement, the game apparently having remote play, and that the full thing is 50 GB.

Now how do we know specifically that the whole thing is 50 GB? Look at Crash’s box art and it says 23 GB required.

50 GB?!?! That's a Lot, well that explains a lot, but still can't you have 50 GB on a Disc?

The approximate file size for the Xbox One version of Spyro Reignited is posted on Microsoft's product page. 36.32GB! Not sure if this is is final size or not.

though i have recently moved and have broadband internet, for four years i lived in a rural area and the best internet was satellite where usually the download speed on my ps4 was anywhere from 1-2 mbps (sometimes less), and so this would have been a problem for me, and i can see where it will be an issue for people.

im happy to do whatever it takes to play reignited!! i just hope i can play all 3 games the same day. i had planned to play them in order, but i may not be able to resist at least booting up 2 and 3 to look it, even if i haven't finished the first one though the download may stop me from being able to do that.
