Back when my brother bought a PS1 for Christmas back in 1999, I was looking into what games I should buy for it and Spyro 1 and 2 were the first ones I was eying on the most (this was before Spyro 3 came out). I've been hooked with the series since and they what got me into gaming in a big way.
When I was 5 years old, I played the first Spyro game for the first time. My older brothers were in charge of getting the games at the time, so I was introduced to Spyro by them. I’ve been a fan of Spyro, and dragons in general, ever since then. Spyro has to be my favorite video game character of all time.
Can't remember how old I was when I found it, but the first game I was introduced too was "Enter the Dragonfly" and I used to just play 1 or 2 levels repetitively. I adored pokemon and dragons at the time, so when I started begging my parents for the cute dragon they gave in lol.
Spyro The Dragon was my first videogame ever! Got it for Christmas in 1999 with the Playstation itself!
